David, was reading your posts on ADVrider.
I am thinking of getting the Yamaha 250wr as well.

I was hoping you could provide me a link to your farkle list or a list of your Twiggy mods as well.

    I am interested in specifically:
    seat
rear rack and bags front and rear
    handlebar risers
    mirrors

    Your help is greatly appreciated!

    Thank you,

    Michael

    Seat – Rick Mayer
Rear Rack – Pro Moto Billet
Rear Bag – Wolfman Peak Tail Bag
Tank Bag – Wolfman Enduro Tank Bag
    Risers – Rox
    Mirrors – Doubletake

I’ve been well pleased with all of the above. I also use the Giant Loop Coyote luggage for camping, which works great on the WR-R.

Hope that is helpful for you.

    David

Just completed Ride Loop 42. It was our first ride from the book and my wife and I enjoyed it very much. From the alligators at the Texaco station just north of Eufala, to the very clean restrooms at the White Oak Day Use Area, to the locks at the Walter F. George Lock and Dam and just enjoying all the serenity of traveling the lightly used two lane backroads of Alabama this proved to be a relaxing and enjoyable ride. If you like to take photographs of old, run down farmhouses of the south there are several along the way, with one being an old two story plantation home with the 4 large columns on the front porch.

    Hi Ron,

Glad to hear you’re enjoying the rides!

    Hello,
I have a Harley fiberglass sidecar that needs the chrome and rubber body trim. Is there anything else people have used besides the Harley trim?

    Thanks,
    Ryan

Wondering what app or program you recommend to view the geocached file data on the above ride loops. I have both iPad and iPhone (and of course a desktop at home) and have a Garmin 60csx (love it) mounted on my ’07 GS.

    Thoroughly enjoy the book!
